I love this photograph of Emily the background was very bold yellow and red that called attention away from the main subject "Emily". I desaturated to make this lovely image of Emily and she seems to pop right out of the photograph.

Emily was playing dress up and she came out of her room like this. I love it when the subject does most of the work :)

Emily loves spiders! Which led to the creation of this mock movie poster.

Emily Halloween 2007

This is one of my favorite photos of Emily. I like the high contrast lighting, the color contrast and the contrast of concepts. The innocence of a young girl with pigtails and pink pj's (with love on them) and the spooky scene and lighting. I had to beg her not to cut her hair until I got this done. The day after she cut her hair short for the first time.



I revisited this photo with a new technique I learned. It is hard to see the difference with the low resolution image, but if you look close it is higher contrast and sharper. I think it gives the image a spookier feel. Which is what I was going for.

Mock Ad

This is a mock ad I created because of a Conversation I had with my daughter Emily. She was telling me she was drinking milk every day and I asked her if she was paying for it. She said no they just give it to me, "I have a little card that takes care of everything".
